This paper is a review of a servies of 34 cases of mediastnal tumors originating in the mediastinum or primarily in other organs, and classified on the basis of pathologic types in specific anatomic locations. In 1959, Joseph Hodge et al. reported 42 cases of primary mediastinal tumors with classifications on the basis of histopathological and anatomic situations. Many authors have contributed to this field with case reprorts. (Christian, 1902; Ewing, 1916: Gordon, 1825; Horatio et al. 1960; Harold al, 1960; Heuer, 2929; Jacobs; /2929; Morris, 1905; Smith et al, 1924; Pachter et al. 1963 etc. )
